Technical Intern Training Program (TITP)

TITP or Technical Intern Training Program is a training designed to develop the skills of students and mould them to make them suitable for the various employment opportunities across various sectors. Japanese language, culture and work-specific training program are offered as per the requirements.

The TITP was developed and designed to provide technical training, provide a platform and prepare the students from India. It helps the trainees to acquire the required skills which can be utilised for economic and industrial development.

After TITP training, the students are sent to Japan to take on the work acquired and facilitated for them by sending organisations A sending organisation is one which mediates employment opportunities relating to technical intern training on behalf of the supervising organisations and meets the requirements thereon.

ARMS Incorporation is the first registered sending organization which is based in Japan which trains and sends the individuals to take up work and meet organisational needs.

TITP is an ambitious program that aims to send three Lakh Indian technical interns to Japan for on the job training for a period of three to five years.

Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) on Technical Intern Training Program (TITP) was signed by Shri Dharmendra Pradhan on behalf of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship of GOVERNMENT OF INDIA with Mr. Katsunobu Kato, Minister of Health, Labour on 17th October 2017.

Working with the aim to promote skill development, National Skill Developemnt Corporation fulfils its purpose by capitalising the creation of large, quality and for for-profit vocational institutions from the day of incorporation on July 31, 2008

The Technical Intern Training Program was created with the purpose of enhancing the economic development of countries participating in the program by the way of generating new employment opportunities. The purpose of the program is to promote international collaboration and ensure that the most competent Individual is selected and sent to Japan.

On October 17, Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan signed the MoC on behalf of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship of the government of India with Katsunobu Kato, Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan at the Ministry of Health Labour and Welfare in Tokyo, Japan.

In a bilateral joint statement issued during the visit of japanese prime minister shinzo abe to india in September 2017, the two prime ministers expressed their confidence that synergy between Japan’s advanced technology and India’s rich human resources can transform both countries into new centres of production in the global industrial network. In this regard, they underscored the potential to further cooperate in human resources development and exchanges utilising such frameworks as Japan’s Technical Intern Training Program (TITP).
